Description

Holmleigh is probably a 17th-century timber-framed building which was faced with weatherboarding in the late 18th or early 19th century. It is two storeys high, with weatherboard cladding and a slate roof, hipped at one end. The building has sash windows retaining their original glazing bars. A simple doorcase provides access to a fielded panelled door. The interior features exposed beams and a 17th-century chimney stack with an open fireplace, still containing an iron crane.
