Description

Chislet Court is an 18th century house, likely built by Thomas Jones, who died in 1760 and is buried in Chislet Church, or by his successor. The building has two storeys and is constructed of red brick. It features a tiled roof with a brick parapet and a painted stringcourse. There are six sash windows with segmental heads, painted keystones, and intact glazing bars. The ground floor windows also have Venetian shutters. The entrance has a doorcase with a painted and moulded architrave surround, a projecting cornice above, a rectangular fanlight, and a six flush panelled door.
