Description

A 15th-century Wealden Hall house, numbers 42 to 45 Ivy Lane, is timber-framed with plaster infill and has a hipped roof with two restored brick stacks. The central section is recessed and supported by overhanging joists. Curved braces are visible on the sides. Restored window openings feature diamond-paned mullions. A flint plinth runs along the base, and a simple panelled door provides access. Numbers 40A to 45, number 51, number 51A, numbers 53 to 61, and number 63 form a group.
