Description

Waterham Cottage is a 15th-century hall house, although the solar end is missing and it was refaced in the 17th century. The building has one storey with end attics, featuring a mix of weatherboarding and renewed brickwork. It has a hipped thatched roof with two eyebrow dormers and two casement windows. There is a brick and timber porch and a 17th-century brick chimneystack. Inside, the cottage contains two inglenook fireplaces and a crown post roof supported on massive tie beams.
