Description

Manwood's Hospital comprises a row of almshouses built in 1570. The building is constructed of red brick with a decorative diaper pattern created using black bricks. Each end of the facade features a crow-stepped gable. The windows are mullioned, their design restored, and they contain leaded lights. The doorways have an obtusely pointed shape. Manwood's Hospital forms a group with the Ye Olde Beverlie Inn and Nos 1 to 6.
