Description

Ye Olde Beverlie Inn is a 2-storey building made of red brick, featuring a tiled roof and a parapet with stone coping. Although it is said to date back to 1570, the only visible part from that period is the crow-stepped gable on the west front. The front of the inn was altered in the 18th century and includes a bay with three windows that still have their glazing bars intact. The side elevation has two sash windows, and there is a doorcase with a reeded frame. Ye Olde Beverlie Inn, along with Nos 1 to 6 Marwood's Hospital, forms a group.
