Description

Blacking Bottle Cottage, together with Nos 3 Bwthyn Clyd and Jasmine, comprises two separate groups of cottages. The western cottage dates from the 18th century and is constructed of brick with a tile roof, hipped to the left-hand side. It has two dormers and two modern two-storey oriel windows. There are two windows with segmental brick heads, and the lower glazing bars are recent replacements for previously blocked windows. A modern door is located on the side. The remaining three cottages date from the early 19th century, also with a tile roof, hipped to the right. They feature three windows with hung sashes and glazing bars, positioned over three doorways which have blocked round-headed fanlights.
