Description

These are four early 19th-century buildings, numbers 16 to 19, King Street. They are constructed of red brick with Mansard slate roofs, featuring four dormers and a parapet. The windows are sash windows; most retain their original glazing bars, with numbers 18 and 19 having three-light sashes. Each pair of doorways is round-headed, topped with a semi-circular fanlight, and set within a segmental arch. The buildings are part of a group which includes numbers 20 to 22, a red brick garden to number 20, the St Alphege Church Hall, an outbuilding, railings, and a post and wall associated with St Alphege Church Hall.
