Description

River House is a mid-to-late 18th-century building on Bridge High Street. It is two storeys and has attics, with a stucco exterior, a parapet, and a hipped tile roof featuring one dormer window. A prominent, full-height curved bay window spans both storeys, featuring three-light sash windows with glazing bars and dentil and moulded cornices. Chimneys are located at each end of the building. A plinth runs along the base. The round-headed doorway has a semi-circular radiating fanlight above a door consisting of six fielded panels. A segmental hood is supported by carved brackets.
