Description

Lime Cottage is a building dating from the 15th or early 16th century, featuring timber framing and early 19th-century alterations. It stands two storeys high, with a front made of red brick and a tiled roof that has two hips; the northern hip is steeply pitched. The left gable is hipped towards the road and includes two windows above one, along with a doorway that has a segmental head and a rectangular bay window. The right gable is also hipped towards the road and has one window above one and a door. The windows are hung sashes with glazing bars. There is a later penticed outshot on the left side that continues down the side elevation.
