Description

This archway dates to 1783 and is the only surviving element of the earlier Lee Priory, originally constructed by James Wyatt. The archway is built of red brick, with some areas showing traces of Roman cement. It has a Welsh slate roof. The arch itself is formed of rubbed bricks and is stepped down. A castellated parapet sits above, finished with roll top coping.
