Description

The Methodist Chapel, built in 1864, features a rendered brick facade designed to resemble stone, with quoins and a gable topped with moulded coping. There are two flights of stairs leading up to a central doorway that is flanked by pilasters and an entablature. The entrance has a pair of doors, each with one panel and bolection moulds, and there is a similar pair of doors located under the landing at the front entrance. The main building has two windows with a bulls-eye window above the end windows, all of which retain their glazing bars. The forecourt is enclosed by modern concrete railings, while the rear of the chapel is constructed of red brick, with windows that also have complete glazing bars.
