Description
Blaxland Farmhouse is a timber-framed house from the first half of the 15th century, originally designed as an open hall with two bays. The timber framing and red brick infilling are visible on the east side, while the front elevation has been refronted with brick. The building has two storeys and features a hipped tiled roof. There are two sash windows with intact glazing bars and two casement windows, along with a simple doorcase. Inside, the roof is constructed with crown posts, with the central truss featuring an octagonal crown post with a square cap and base. The rafters are smoke blackened.
