Description
The property comprises a coachman’s cottage, along with associated stable and lodge elements, dating from the early 19th century. The main cottage (No 28) is built of red brick with a slate roof and eaves cornice, featuring four windows and pilasters flanking each bay. The windows retain their original sash glazing bars. A simple doorcase is present. An additional stable (No 28A) is a two-storey structure with two windows, alongside a lower, single-storey stable block with a slate roof. Further extending the property is a two-storey addition (No 28B) distinguished by a large bow window with pilasters on the ground floor.
