Description

The building at 28 High Street dates to around 1830. It is a two-storey structure built of painted brick, with a hipped tiled roof. A prominent three-light canted bay window projects from the ground floor, and above it is a wrought iron balcony. A simple doorcase leads to a four-panelled door. The side elevation is of red brick with a slate roof and four sash windows. A three-light canted bay window is also present, and the facade features cross-shaped iron ties.
