Description

Egerton House is an L-shaped house dating to the early 19th century, with some underlying timber-framing visible inside. The exterior is stuccoed and features a pilaster that rises the full height of the building. The roof is tiled, with a modillion cornice and parapet. Six sash windows with missing glazing bars are present. The south front has a pentice extending over part of its length, and a wide, square porch is situated in the angle formed by the pentice. A round-headed doorway within the porch is accompanied by side lights and a semi-circular fanlight.
