Description

Old Kingsland Cottage is a 17th-century or earlier timber-framed building. It has a base of stone rubble and was refronted with red brick on the ground floor and tile-hung above. The roof is tiled, with a pentice to the east and west. The cottage features three Dering windows. A doorcase is present with a flat hood supported by brackets. The building holds group value as an example of a vernacular dwelling.
