Description

Stonebridge Green Cottage is a 17th century or earlier building. The ground floor is refaced with red brick on a stone base, while the upper part is curved tile-hung. The northernmost window bay, which projects slightly and was likely added later, is entirely faced with red brick and features a stringcourse and a hipped roof above. The cottage has a hipped tiled roof with a pentice at the south end. The south wing includes a small 18th century flush shop window, which is no longer used as a shop, complete with glazing bars and a tile-hung canopy above it.
