Description
Cooper Farmhouse is a Grade II* listed building, likely dating from the 15th century. The main part of the farmhouse is timber-framed with plaster infilling, featuring some close-studding and curved braces on the first floor. At the south-east end, there is a bay on both floors that includes windows with two tiers of five lights, made with wooden mullions and transoms, topped with a small gable. The ground floor window is flanked by narrow windows. The farmhouse has a hipped tiled roof and four casement windows. Adjacent to the south-east end, there is a 19th-century addition that consists of one window bay, with the ground floor faced in stone rubble and red brick window dressings and quoins, while the upper part is tile-hung. The windows are of the Dering style.
