Description
The Dering Arms Inn is a public house built around 1840, inspired by the nearby Surrenden Dering mansion. This two-storey building is constructed of ashlar and features two square projections, each topped with a shaped Dutch gable above three of its faces. There are five windows in total, with similar gables above the other three window bays. The five Dering windows have stone cambered head linings above the round-headed lights, which include keyblocks at the angles and in the centre of the heads. The entrance has a doorcase with a flat hood above it.
