Description

Pinnock Farm Cottage is a cottage dating to around 1800, situated on the northeast side of The Pinnock in Pluckley. The cottage is constructed from brick in English bond, featuring an old tiled roof. The roof is hipped to the left and gabled to the right, with a tall brick chimney stack on the right-hand gable, which includes a moulded top. The cottage has two storeys and two windows. It has double Dering windows with painted mullions, a dogs tooth cornice, and a plinth. A central doorcase contains a plank door within a moulded architrave, topped by a flat wooden hood. A catslide roof extends to the rear. Replacement windows from the later 20th century are found on the left side. A 20th-century garage on the right side is not considered to be of architectural significance. Inside, the left front room has a brick floor, a timber-framed partition wall incorporating reused diagonal braces, a spine beam with run-out stops, and a plank door with ledges and latch.
