Description

The Homestead is a 17th-century building located on the east side of The Street in Appledore. It is two storeys high, with a ground floor made of red brick and tile hanging above. The roof is tiled and features a Sussex hip at each end. The building has four casement windows with small square leaded panes, and there is a small round-headed window situated above the door. A flat-roofed square porch with moulded panels on the inside of the returns complements the door. There is a modern addition on the right-hand side of the building.
