Description

Thatcher's Cottage is a probable late medieval timber-framed cottage that was refaced with weatherboarding in the 18th century. The building has two storeys and features a steeply pitched hipped tiled roof at one end. It includes two casement windows and has a 17th century brick chimney stack along with an external brick chimneystack. The cottage also has a catslide roof. The central doorcase is simple, with a flat wooden hood supported by brackets.
