Description

This is a chest tomb dedicated to John Oliver, who died in 1811. It is a Neo-classical stone sarcophagus featuring pilaster corner piers and a pedimented top slab adorned with acroteria. The tomb is located about 2 metres south of the Church of Saint Gregory and Saint Martin on the north side of Wye High Street.
