Description

Strood House is a 18th century building that features an exterior made of weatherboarding, which covers an older structure. The house has two storeys and a hipped tiled roof with a modillion eaves cornice. On the first floor, there are three sash windows with intact glazing bars. The ground floor has two bays, with a doorcase situated between them. This doorcase is adorned with pilasters, a pediment, a semi-circular fanlight, and a door that consists of six moulded and fielded panels. A massive red brick chimney breast is located on the north wall.
