Description

Budd's Farmhouse is a late 17th-century building located in Wittersham on Budd's Lane. It has two storeys and attics, constructed of red brick with alternating grey headers. The hipped tiled roof features four dormers and a wooden modillion eaves cornice. There is a stringcourse made of red brick and grey headers. The farmhouse retains eight original casement windows, each with four sections, wooden mullions, transoms, and small square leaded panes. A modern projection has been added, which includes a porch with two storeys above, topped by a gable. To the north of this is a doorcase with pilasters and a pediment. There are also modern additions to the south and west. At the north-west corner, there is a long low wing that was once an old outhouse, which has a modern addition to its west.
