Description

21 Tufton Street is a building from the 18th century or earlier, featuring two storeys. The ground floor is made of painted brick, while the first floor is plastered and has painted half-timbering. It has a hipped tiled roof and a modillion eaves cornice. The façade includes three sash windows with verticals only and a stringcourse. The central doorcase has a flat hood supported by scrolled console brackets, and the door consists of six fielded panels, with the top two panels cut away and glazed. This building is part of a group with Nos 3 to 8 Churchyard Passage, which are of local interest.
