Description
Bugglesden is a 16th to early 17th century timber-framed house that has been largely refronted with brick, while still displaying visible timber-framing in its plastered gables. The building is two storeys high and features a string course. It has two gables adorned with carved bressumers and corbel heads, one located in the centre of the bressumer and another at the centre of the gable. The gables also have scalloped bargeboards. There are four modern sash windows, with the east window bay being an addition. The house includes a gabled porch that contains a six-panel moulded door, with the top two panels cut away and glazed.
