Description

These are 20th-century bungalows designed by the architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. The complex comprises two U-shaped blocks facing each other. The bungalows are one and two storeys high with hipped tiled roofs. The central houses are two storeys, with the ground floor constructed of red brick and the first floor tile hung; one gabled dormer window is present. Brick chimneys protrude from the roof. A two-storey gabled porch features centrally, while two single-storey weatherboarded wings flank the main section. Casement windows with glazing bars are found throughout the bungalows.
