Description

The Homestead is an 18th-century building located on the north-west side of The Street in Wittersham. It consists of two parallel ranges and stands two storeys high. The ground floor is constructed of red brick with grey headers, while the upper floor is tile hung. At the north end of the front, there is a half-hipped gable. The building features two sashes with missing glazing bars and two 19th-century bays on the ground floor. A late 19th-century shop front has been added at the north-east corner, and the entrance is now located in the side elevation.
