Description

Sheerland House is a home farm, built in 1813 during the minority of Sir Edward Cholmeley Dering, the 8th Baronet. It was originally part of the Surrenden Dering estate. The house is two storeys and has attics. It is constructed of ashlar stone with galleting and has a hipped slate roof with three gabled dormers. A bracket cornice runs along the eaves. The front façade features three windows in the Dering style. A gabled porch displays the date 1813.
