Description

Oakmead Farm, formerly known as Jewhurst Farmhouse, features an 18th-century exterior and is built on the site of a 14th-century hall-house that originally had an open hall, which was modified with a ceiling added in the late 16th century. The building has two storeys, with the ground floor constructed of painted brick and the upper floor tile hung. It has a half-hipped tiled roof and three casement windows. Inside, you will find chamfered beams and an inglenook fireplace.
