Description

These are two 18th-century buildings on the north-west side of Middlebridge Street. They are two storeys and have an attic, with an old tile roof and three hipped dormers, each containing a two-light casement window. The walls are colourwashed brick with a toothed eaves cornice. The first floor has four sash windows, each with three panes and architrave frames. Above the ground floor windows is a flat, moulded hood with a sloping slate roof. The ground floor has two pairs of double sash windows with architrave frames but no glazing bars. Number 87 has a modern door within an architrave frame. Number 89 has a six-panelled door with a rectangular fanlight above, both within an architrave frame, and a plain wooden door at the left-hand end.
