Description

17 South Street is a 19th-century building. It is constructed of painted brick and has a half-hipped thatched roof that extends down over a single-storey outshut to the rear. The south-facing facade has 1½ storeys and six bays, while the rear facade has five windows. The building has six dormers above the ground-floor windows on its south facade. The windows are early 19th-century casements with glazing bars. A porch is present. The building forms a group with number 15 South Street.
