Description

This barn dates to circa 1800 and is situated to the south of the Manor Farm farmhouse. It is a 9-bay barn with an aisle on each side. There are gabled entrances on the north side, positioned in the third bay from each end, and another on the south side, in the third bay from the west end. The barn is timber-framed, with trusses featuring a high collar, struts below the purlins, and braces to the tie-beam. The roof is corrugated iron with top ventilators, and includes original tiled sections with half-hips over the three old entrances. Block walling is present, and the upper gable on the east side is boarded.
