Description
The cemetery chapels, consisting of Chapel (A) east of the lodge and Chapel (B) southeast of the lodge, were built in the mid-19th century. They feature an octagonal shape topped with a steep pyramid roof made of red tiles. The walls are constructed from flint with stone dressings, including a cill band, angle stepped buttresses, and a plinth. There is a projecting porch with a gable that has raised coping and a finial, along with a gothic arch entrance and buttresses. The two tall side gables contain coupled cusped lights and tracery, while the other sides have small single-light cusped windows. Inside, the chapels have an exposed arch-braced timber roof with a central pendant.
