Description
The Jolly Sailor Public House dates to the 18th century. It is a two-storey building with an attic, featuring three windows. The roof is covered in red tiles, with brickwork along the eaves featuring a dentil pattern. The construction incorporates blue header brickwork with red dressings, and a plinth built of alternating blue headers and red stretchers. The rear of the building is constructed with a Flemish bond brick pattern, again with blue headers. The upper windows are sash windows, while the ground floor windows have been replaced with modern bow windows. The site includes two ship figureheads.
