Description

Thorn Cottage is an early 19th-century house located on Anstey Road. It is two storeys tall and constructed of stucco with a slate roof that features flanking chimneys. The original part of the house is three bays wide, with the ground floor showcasing two tall windows and a central door that has a depressed arched head and a radiating fanlight, framed by quadrant Doric columns. There is a Tuscan porch at the entrance. The first floor contains three square windows. To the left, there is a slightly later single-bay extension, which has one square window on both the ground and first floors.
