Description
Chandos Lodge dates to around 1840 and was built in a Tudor Gothic style. It is a two-storey building with three gabled bays. The lodge is constructed of brick, with a slate roof and an ornamented chimney on the left side. The first floor has a panelled door with Gothic detailing on the left, and three tall windows with hood moulds and pointed arched heads to the sashes. Above that, three similar windows are present, but with square heads. Each gable has a small central opening, also with a hood mould, and bargeboarding. A single-storey extension was added later on the right side of the building.
