Description
Elm (North) Lodge is an early 19th-century single-storey dwelling located in Stratfield Saye Park. It features a symmetrical design and a very plain classical style, with one window on either side of a central entrance. The low-pitched slate roof has wide, plain eaves above a fascia, and the gables at the ends and center are in a pediment form, with the fascia returning at eaves level. The walls are made of painted brickwork with a plinth. The two-light casements have slightly projected frames topped with pediments. The central section projects above two plain columns that have simple cap and base mouldings. The thin doorframe also features a pediment top. There is an identical South Lodge located in Stratfield Turgis.
