Description
The Parish Church of St John the Baptist is a Grade I listed building located on Ripe Church Lane. It features a Pelham Perpendicular tower and a distinctive Pelham buckle on the doorway. The church is constructed from flint, with a stone rubble tower and a rendered chancel, nave, west tower, and south porch. Inside, there is a piscina and sedilia. The church is primarily decorated with an impressive east window that has flowing tracery, along with several Perpendicular windows.
