Description

Mount Pleasant Cottage is a 17th-century or earlier timber-framed cottage. It was later refaced with brick on the ground floor and painted, and the upper floor is tile-hung. The roof is hipped and thatched, with a pentice to the south side. The windows are casement windows. A notable feature is the gryphon crest of the Duke family of Laughton Lodge. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows.
