Description

The Toll is a 16th-century timber-framed house that has undergone significant alterations and enlargements. The original part of the building is located at the north end of the south-west wing. It is two storeys high and features two windows. The ground floor is faced with ashlar, while the upper floor is tile-hung. The roof is tiled, and the windows are casement style. There is a modern extension with two window bays added to the south-west of this wing. Additionally, there is a 19th-century ashlar L-shaped wing to the south-east, which includes a casement window with stone mullions. A stone porch is situated at the angle of the L, topped with a parapet and ball caps.
