Description

The stables or barn located to the north-west of Scrag Oak is a large L-shaped building dating from the 17th century. It is timber-framed and has two storeys on the east side and three storeys on the west side, due to the slope of the ground. The ground floor is constructed of ashlar, while the first floor is made of red brick, with the upper section being tile-hung. The building features a tiled roof.
