Great Danegate is an 18th-century building of two storeys and three windows. The ground floor is constructed of red brick with grey brick headers, while the upper floor is tile-hung. The roof is tiled. The building has casement windows. A wide, modern porch in the style of Georgian architecture has been added to the east wall.
