Description

Hope Farmhouse is a small building from the 17th century or earlier. It has been refronted with red brick on the ground floor and features tile-hanging above, although some timber framing is still visible at the back beneath a wide bellcast that projects on brackets. The roof is very steeply pitched and hipped at the south end. The building has casement windows with diamond-shaped panes and consists of two storeys with two windows. An immense brick chimney breast with offsets is located on the north wall. There is also a modern porch.
