Description
The Parish Church of St Oswald is a Grade I listed building located in Hooe on Mill Lane. The church features a chancel, a north chapel (now serving as the vestry), a nave, a south porch, and a west tower with a taller stair turret. The north chapel dates back to the 13th century, while the rest of the church was built in the 15th century. It underwent restoration in 1889 and 1899. Notable architectural features include some traceried windows and a barrel vaulted ceiling in the nave. The chancel is highlighted by a crown post roof, and there is a late Norman font present in the church.
