Description
Mays is an impressive square house from the 18th century, built by a Mr. Fuller. It stands three storeys tall and features three windows. The front is constructed with grey headers and red brick dressings, including quoins. There are stringcourses and a cornice made of Roman cement, and the parapet is also made of grey headers. The main front is flanked by narrow recessed sections of red brick that resemble pilasters. The glazing bars are intact, and the doorway has a segmental fanlight above a door with six fielded panels. Curved red brick walls with grey headers on each side of the front lead to piers topped with ball caps. The sides of the house alternate between red brick and grey headers.
