Description

Old Birchden is a 17th century or earlier L-shaped building that stands two storeys tall and features four windows. The ground floor is constructed of red brick with grey headers, while the upper storey is tile-hung. It has a tiled roof with a gable at the west end. The windows are casement style. Notably, the east end of the house has been converted from a circular oasthouse, although the conical roof has been removed.
