Description

16 George Street, also known as Downford House, is an early 19th-century building of two storeys and three windows. The facade is stuccoed, and the roof is hipped and covered in slate. Original sash windows with intact glazing bars are present. A modern porch has been added. The building is part of the Wealden Council Offices. It was originally listed as number 18.
